Q: John from Royal Oak asks: My A/C does not work, and does not blow cold, does this mean that i
can just add freon and it will be fully operable again?
A: In fact John by just adding freon may not cure your problem at all. If the freon is low, that signifies
that there is a leak somewhere in your a/c system. Freon does not just disappear from your system.
The leak may, however, be large or small and recharging your A/C system may last for some time, or,
may not last long at all. What we will do is evacuate and recharge your A/C system and ad a dye that
helps us detect where the leak is, as freon is a colorless gas. Once your A/C becomes inoperable
again we can use a special light to look where the leak is, it will illuminate the dye, that we have added
to your system. But, just because your A/C system does not blow cold does not necessarily mean that
you are low on freon. There are other components of the A/C system that may not work that is
causing your A/C not to be cold, for example, the A/C condenser, compressor may also be inoperable
causing your system to not work. Schedule and appointment today and we will can determine why
your A/C system is not working. Thank you for your question

Q: from Rod: hi i have a 1998 sebring lxi coupe? It smokes whitish steam
when i sit at stop lights and drive off.a big cloud of smoke will
apearno anti-freeze is missing and the oil is fine looking normal.so my
transmission fluid is a brownish yellow could i have a bad transmission
modulater?if it has one?i heard i could bring tranny fluid throw the
vaccum hose to the combustion chamber
causing tranny fluid to burn and cause white steam/smoke?couls this be
possible in this yar and model ?also were do i find the part on my car
to replace ?and again
A: Rod based on your year and model of vehicle it does not have a modular valve because it has
electric computer control transmission, this would eliminate the modular valve. The most probable
cause to your problem would be the valve guide seals are leaking. If your vehicle has over 100,000
miles the engine is most likely tired and would need a rebuild. What happens is when the vehicle is
stationary as at a light oil will leak into the valves then when you accelerate from the light you see the
one puff of smoke then it disappears. Another, but less likely, cause would be Oil control rings. If

Q: FROM: Norman
VEHICLE = 1996 Jeep, Grand Cherokee, Larado, all wheel drive
Walmart installed the wrong sized tires on the front of my Jeep Grand
Cherokee.
They installed p225/70r15 on the front.
My Jeep is all wheel drive.
The rar tires are p225/75r15, the front tires Walmart installed are an
inch smaller.
Complete differential, front and rear, and drive train failure
occurred.
My mechanic says this caused the failure.
Is this possible?
A: Norman,
Thank-you for your question. Your mechanic is absolutely correct in telling you that the wrong size
tires put on your vehicle by walmart could cause the damage done to your vehicle. By putting on the
wrong size tire on an "all wheel drive vehicle" make the tires spin differently, kind of like spinning
against eachother. This ruins the Differential, and if driven long enough even the ring/pinion, and or
bearings. We see this time and time again where different size tires are on front/back of all wheel
drive vehicles. In some cases we have even seen the same size tires in
different brands do damage to the differential. In our opinion walmart should have known this and
should not have mismatched your tires. I would seek damages from
walmart in the amount needed to repair your vehicle based on their negligence, or possibly even
punitive damages. If you have furhter questions or need any further assistance feel free to contact us
at 248-545-7465, again thank you for your question
sincerely
